About Andrew I. Offman

Andrew I. Offman is a seasoned family law attorney with a decade of experience advocating for clients across Virginia and Maryland. A graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, Mr. Offman has devoted his entire legal career to family law, focusing on complex matters such as contested and uncontested divorces, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, equitable distribution of property, enforcement and modification proceedings, drafting Pre-Nuptial and Post-Nuptial Agreements, adoptions and protective order matters.

Additionally, since 2022, Mr. Offman has served in Virginia as a Guardian ad litem for children and has genuinely enjoyed the opportunity to fight for the best interests of his minor clients.

Mr. Offman is committed to helping clients remain goal-focused while navigating emotionally charged legal issues. He is both compassionate and direct, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout the process. Whether resolving disputes through litigation or negotiating creative settlements, Mr. Offman works diligently to accomplish his clients’ objectives in the most cost-efficient way possible.  While it is Mr. Offman’s goal to resolve conflict without the need for Court intervention whenever possible, he has extensive experience advocating for his clients through litigation throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, with vigor.

Mr. Offman is actively engaged in the legal and local community. He is a member of the Charlottesville Albemarle Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Thomas Jefferson Inn of Court. He also serves on the board of his neighborhood homeowners’ association and provides pro bono legal support through the Free Legal Clinic at UVA.

Originally from New York, Mr. Offman now lives in Charlottesville with his wife and two children. Outside of his legal work, he is an avid sports enthusiast and values the importance of balancing a demanding profession with an active family and community life.
